Our Programs

SMRATA trust has spread its wings of impact across sectors to bring about a more sustainable change - by going beyond education. With the underlying value system of not leaving a single stone unturned - of making a social impact, it has helped arrange for health, cultural, food and educational opportunities and access to everyone that is willing and especially those that cannot afford them.

Education for All

Inspired by the Government of India’s Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, the "Education for All" initiative—led by Dr. Sarat Addanki (AYD)—focuses on empowering marginalized communities, especially young girls, through access to quality education.

Supported 453+ girls from marginalized communities across 450+ villages in Telangana to pursue degrees at premier institutions like IITs, IIMs, NFSU, and Central Universities. These efforts have transformed over 2.25 lakh familieseconomically and socially—shifting mindsets from early marriage to higher education.

So far, SMRATA has empowered 453+ students—80% of whom are girls—from over 450 villages across Telangana. By funding tuition, living expenses, laptops, and mentorship, the initiative has transformed the lives of more than 2.25 lakh families, delayed early marriages, and inspired a cultural shift toward higher education for girls.

Sponsored full higher education for 157 students in national universities.
Helped 111 students complete their final semester in Delhi-based institutions.
Provided 85 laptops to students enrolled in top-tier programs.
Sponsored 25 daughters of sex workers for international education via NGO KRANTI.
Supported a national-level skating athlete with training equipment and travel.
Donated 10,000+ notebooks to government school students across Telangana.
Arranged career mentorship and internships, including guidance from Silicon Valley professionals, to bridge the education-employment gap.

Health for All

Inspired by national movements like Ayushman Bharat and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, SMRATA’s Health for All initiative focuses on building a healthier, more informed India—starting with hygiene, preventive care, and integrative cancer support.

Motivated by personal loss and a passion for holistic healing, Dr. Sarat Addanki (AYD) pursued advanced studies in Ayurveda and began developing scalable healthcare solutions that blend ancient wisdom with modern technology. His vision has reached over 2.5 lakh people through medical outreach and helped 1,500+ cancer patients via integrative care.

Impact

INR 2.5 Crores invested in sanitation and security at MNJ Hospital.
Over 60,000 immunity kits and 17,000 masks + 10,000 sanitizers distributed during the pandemic.
1.5 lakh+ nutritional food packs delivered to cancer patients and caregivers.
Medical insurance provided to 600+ traditional artists and frontline performers.
Free medical camps and Ayurvedic care for 2.5 lakh+ individuals over 10 years.
Emergency relief supplies (2+ tons) shipped to Manipur.

Key Initiatives

Adopted MNJ Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad, managing sanitation, hygiene, and security for a 300-bed, 8-story facility.
Developed India’s first AI-based integrative EHR blending Allopathy, Ayurveda, and mind-body therapies for use in Meghalaya.
Implemented VR-based therapy at a government hospital in Shillong to ease chemo/radiation side effects.
Donated a mobile cancer screening truck to the Meghalaya Cancer Society.
Organized 3 national cancer prevention conferences with leading oncologists from India and the U.S.
Conducted yoga and awareness sessions for high-risk occupational groups like coal miners and public sector employees.

Objectives

Promote operational excellence in public hospitals through hygiene, automation, and manpower training.
Deliver integrative healthcare and pain management services for cancer and chronic illness patients.
Provide affordable insurance and wellness resources to underserved communities.
Educate the public on disease prevention, diet, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic therapies.
Develop and promote sustainable cultivation of Ayurvedic herbs in collaboration with government bodies.

Livelihood for All

The COVID-19 pandemic left countless individuals across India without jobs or stability. In alignment with the PM Vishwakarma initiative, SMRATA stepped in to restore dignity and opportunity for those whose livelihoods were lost.

Under the leadership of Dr. Sarat Addanki (AYD), over 500 women from Telangana's handloom sector were retrained in tailoring and weaving through NGO partnerships—and continue to earn and support their families today. The historic Surabhi Theatre Group, a 180-year-old performing arts collective, was also supported through virtual performances, food provisions, and quarterly aid to sustain their cultural legacy.

SMRATA has trained and employed 5,500+ graduates in India and created 1,100+ jobs in the U.S., primarily in software and tech services. These efforts have generated over $1 Billion USD in software exports, strengthening India’s global IT footprint
